This area provides the ability to search for a
location. The search tries to match a location to a parcel address
first. If that is unsuccessful, the address is matched against the street
centerline database which is a theoretical network of streets and address in the
County. You can also search for AIMS section tiles by entering the correct
value in the search box (e.g. K26)
Property Id Search
Enter the property id or address in the "Search for Location" text box and
press the "Locate Button". The application searches the property
database for an exact match. If an exact match is found the property is
highlighted in yellow and additional information about the property is listed at
the bottom of the page. If an exact match is not found and the search
criteria was an address, then the IMS does an address match against the street
centerline file.
Address Search
Enter the address or intersection in the "Enter Address" text
box and press the "Locate Button". The address is matched
against the street database for a match that is closest to the address entered.
The results are ranked and the highest ranking is returned as a point on the
map. If the multiple matches are found, a list appears of each address
that was found. Click on the address of interest to go the that location.
Address Examples:
111 South Cherry Street
111 S. Cherry
111 Cherry
11900 135th
135th and Quivira
I35 Hwy and 87th (returns I-35 and 87th street)
NOTE: Address searches are conducted on the street database and not
from the property database. Therefore the location found is a best
possible match based on the streets and may not necessarily coincide with a
property address.
