 US Department of the Treasury announced that the first monthly payment of the expanded and newly-advanceable Child Tax Credit (CTC) from the American Rescue Plan will be made on July 15. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid announced in a press release that beginning this year, consumers will have an extra 30 days to review and choose health plans through Open Enrollment.  Open Enrollment will run from November 1, 2021 through January 15, 2022, on HealthCare.gov or CuidadoDeSalud.gov.  To find local help click here.

Kansas Housing Resources Corporation has a program for rent and utility assistance which began taking applications on Monday March 15: Kansas Emergency Rental Assistance (KERA) Program.  This program is for Kansas Residents, to view eligibility criteria and apply visit their Website.  

Please note both Landlords and Tenants need to apply.
