Open enrollment for the 2022 Health Insurance Marketplace is now open.  Consumers who need to sign up for health coverage should visit HealthCare.gov or CuidadoDeSalud.gov beginning on November 1 and enroll in coverage by January 15, 2023.  

*If consumers want coverage that begins on January 1, 2023, they must enroll in coverage by December 15, 2022. Otherwise, their coverage will begin on February 1, 2023.

Harvesters Community Food Network distributes food intended for families in need of emergency food assistance at multiple locations and times.  Days, times, and locations of Harvesters Partner Agencies in the Kansas and Missouri service areas can be found at its Food Locator and Meals for Kids webpages.

988 has been designated as the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (now known as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), and is now active across the United States. More info...

When people call, text, or chat 988, they will be connected to trained counselors that are part of the existing Lifeline network. These trained counselors will listen, understand how their problems are affecting them, provide support, and connect them to resources if necessary.

Baptist Trinity Lutheran Legacy Foundation (BTLLF) has two openings for Kansas City Medicine Cabinet (KCMC), which helps people with low incomes to access specific health services.
Both are brand new KCMC positions:
* The Client Support Specialist will support and encourage clients to access care by redeeming their vouchers at partner vendor locations.
