Update: Women's Employment Network (WEN) will continue to provide their services remotely during normal hours of operation Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Services are available for free to new, existing, or past clients.

Kansas Corporation Commission has issued an emergency order suspending utility disconnects for nonpayment until 
April 15 More info...

The directive covers all electrical, natural gas, water and telecommunications utilities under the KCC’s jurisdiction, several of which have already voluntarily suspended disconnects. The Commission also encourages those utilities not under its jurisdiction to enact similar practices.  View the Order here.

Catholic Charities South has changed either
emergency food hours to Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.  They are closed from 12:00-1:00 pm for lunch/cleaning at their Olathe location (333 East Poplar Street, Olathe, KS).
  

Any family who can provide an ID and fill out Catholic Charities intake form is eligible to come in and receive a bag of food which includes a meat, bread, and whatever food is delivered from our Food Rescue that week. Families can come every 30 days for a bag of food.

Xfinity WiFi is offering free access to all Xfinity WiFi Public Hot Spots.  Public hotspots can be found in small/medium businesses and outdoors in commercial areas. Non-Xfinity subscribers need to accept Terms and Conditions to access the network and repeat when requested to continue to receive free unlimited access. Please refer to the map on their website for available public hotspots.
