On first Thursday of every month Johnson County Mental Health Center hosts a FREE parent support group meeting at Youth & Family Services (920 W. Spruce, Olathe, KS). BikeWalkKC is presenting a Family Confident City Cycling Class.  It will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 23, Thursday, July 25, Tuesday, July 30, and Thursday, August 1 at the Johnson County Central Resource Library(9875 W 87th Street, Overland Park, KS). Participants also have an opportunity to earn a bike of their own. Registration required for this event. Minors must have signed permission form.  Register here... 

You can become more comfortable riding your bike in the city. BikeWalkKC‘s Confident City Cycling Class is designed for adults, and kids 14 and older, who want to learn how to ride on trails, bike paths, and city streets. The course contains both discussion and on-bike components, all skill levels welcome.  Adults must attend all 4 sessions to earn a free bike. Kids must attend July 25 & 30th, Aug 1 to earn a bike.

Ride KC's Micro Transit program will have Saturday Service Beginning in July in two ways.  
  
Micro Transit operates Monday-Friday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Effective Saturday, July 6, the service expands! Saturday service includes State Line to Renner and also operates from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fare remains at $1.50 per trip.

On the first three Saturdays in July, you can get a free ride to downtown Overland Park and the Overland Park Farmers' Market. Take a trip on July 6, July 13 and July 20.  More info...

This training is specifically crafted for individuals who don’t have a professional background in the mental health industry. The training will take place at the Mission office of Johnson County Mental Health Center (6000 Lamar Ave, Suite 130, Mission, KS). The cost is $25, and registration is already filling up fast.
