Center for Disease Control (CDC) ordered a temporary halt in Residential Evictions to Prevent the Further Spread of COVID-19.  More info...  The CDC announced an extension to March 31, 2021.  You can read the CDC's media release here
Regarding the Eviction Moratorium evictions will not automatically be halted, the tenant must meet certain criteria and give their landlord a signed declaration with several statements including that they cannot pay rent. The declaration must include some exact language.  

There is a not yet a new declaration form with the March 31 date.  Below is the most recent one provided with the Jan 31 date.  We will update this when a new one becomes available.

The Kansas Department for Children and Families announced the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), will increase the maximum allotment for food assistance.  It will increase by 15% temporarily in January and will continue through June 2021.  Apply online here.  More info...

The Grooming Project is open to both women and men who have at least one child under the age of 18.  Applicants must meet the income guidelines for SNAP benefits to be eligible, though you do not have to be receiving SNAP at the time of application.
